Welcome to Gullivers Bookshop

We've been on the High Street in Wimborne since 1969 and for more than forty years we've provided a friendly and personal service.

Our shelves are packed with thousands of titles, from bestsellers to local authors, plus a range of maps, puzzles, cards, wrap and educational toys. We even stock e-books, so if you prefer to do your reading from a screen, we can help!

World Book Night 2012

We promote various events throughout the year - in 2011 we sponsored Wimborne's first ever Literary Festival, supported the Food Festival Fringe events, welcomed authors including Phill Jupitus to in-store book signings and sponsored a Christmas Celebration, amongst other things!

Dorset Art Weeks 2012 starts on 26th May and we have a very special display for our window created by local artists and schoolchildren - come along then and have a look!
